| Producer deliveries of Maize
|
The weekly Sagis producer deliveries for the week ending 24 July indicated that 959 000 tons of maize was delivered in the past week. The maize that was delivered included 594 000 tons of white maize and 365 000 tons of yellow maize. This brings the cumulative maize deliveries for the season to date at 8.476 million tons, which includes the early deliveries seen during March and April. |
| The table above presents the producer deliveries of maize in the 08/09 season as well as the 09/10 season. Including the early deliveries that total maize delivered to date amount to 73% of the CEC commercial maize crop.
