Client On-line Trading Screens

The Online Trading System (OTS) provides clients with an internet based trading system that allows them to view live agricultural prices and trades as they happen. The OTS also allows viewers to study the market depth screens for all the commodities traded on the South African Futures Exchange as well as the agricultural options.

There are 2 different OTS options available:
* View Only: This allows the viewer to see the agricultural market in real time during trading hours as the trading takes place.
* Trading screen: This allows the user to enter actual trades into the Safex agricultural market at their own discretion.

The system requirements for the OTS to operate are the following:
* Hardware requirements: Operating system requirements should be used. The following must be used as guidelines:
1 GB RAM
100 GB Hard Drive
SVGA Monitor
Keyboard & Mouse
Internet Connection (e.g. 3G or Leased Line (Diginet) or ADSL) for best performance
* Software requirements:
Microsoft XP or later with the latest service packs
Microsoft.Net
Framework 3.5 SP1. This is available from www.microsoft.com/downloads
